'Unfussy' readymade curtains ideal for dark rooms

Homes in the UK could benefit from having 'unfussy' readymade curtains in them if they lack natural light.
Award-winning interior designer Jamie Hempsall told the Yorkshire Post that homeowners with little light in their homes can remedy the situation.
He is quoted as saying: "Keep curtains unfussy - use eyelet or pinch pleat headings which provide clear lines that frame the external view.
"Ideally use a pole or ornamental track to avoid losing light from the top of your window behind a pelmet."
Therefore, Brits trying to make the most of the natural light that they do have in their homes may want to invest in some curtain poles and some simple but stylish ready made curtains.
He added that a blackout blind can also be added to a window to create privacy in the evenings.
Buying new window furnishings could be an option for Brits trying to sell their homes, as these could help smarten up a tired-looking property.
Such is the recent suggestion of Phil Spencer, co-presenter of Location, Location, Location, reported home.co.uk.
