As term-time is approaching, parents may be wondering what to give their teen who is going to university and the answer may be blinds.

According to the Shropshire Star, students moving away from home for the first time to live in university halls may want some home comforts.

Youngsters who intend to spend their time at university studying could appreciate made to measure blinds to add to their window in front of their desk.

That is because these window treatments can prevent any glare from falling on a computer or laptop.

The news provider states: "Make it easy for your pupil to slave over their desk by adding fun touches."

Finishing touches could include books by classic writers, such as William Shakespeare and Charles Dickens, and retro cushions in the shape of typewriters.

Jonathan Moore, director of homesforstudents.com, recently stated that more youngsters will be moving into university halls rather than private rented accommodation in order to keep costs down.

Either way, a stylish set of blinds may be needed.
